To break the wall between the real and the virtual...
This sketch shows a closed system in which a fixed amount of water can flow between the water tank and the water ball. Animation projected on the water tank surface reveals the level of water in the tank according to the depth sensor inside the tank. By lifting the water ball or putting it lower, a viewer can control the water flow and interact with the system. For example, when the viewer lifts the ball, water flows to the tank and the virtual water image on the tank surface rises. Water flows from the real space to a virtual space.
What story does it tell?
The boundary between the real and the virtual can be dismissed. Then what?
What does it mean that the water flow back and forth between the reality and the virtual?
What changes when the reality level rise and drop?
