Motion to Light
Mannually turning a DC motor makes the inside coil cut Magnetic induction lines and produce current. In an open circuit, the current can flow out to lighten an LED. And in a short circuit, a electric coil moving in magnetic field produces force and makes it harder to twist the DC motor.
LED is diode, it only lights up when the current flows from the positive+ to the ground-. Cutting Magnetic induction lines continuesly generates current in opposite directions alternatively. When the current flows from the ground to the positive, there is no light. This is why the LED blinks.
