My Body tells stories of different body parts in separate pages and connects them with hypertexts. There is no linear path to go through all the fragments, just like the fact of human body that everything interwoven with each other. The author's consciousness is also represented as a part of the body.
Depression Quest is a story without many ups and downs. You make choices to call the next page of narration, but I guess the choices actually do not make great difference in the charcacter's life. Sometimes, there is only one blue line that you can click and "select". This reminds me the fake choice concept mentioned in another reading that you do not really have choices of paths, you just have the flexibility to decide what to say to enter the certain consequence. None of the choices can solve the depression problem like magic. Another special feeling for this game is when I play, I have no sense how close I am to the ending. It feels like this hopeless life situation is endless. There was no turnaround anywhere.
