Visual poetry is creatively displayed text. The shape of each letter and the overall composition of the paragraph interpret some connotations of words and endow the text with a new layer of meaning with the image. Visual poetry challenges the traditional way of reading and explores the text's quality as visual elements.

According to my observation, literal meaning and sentiment conceived are two of the common factors visual poetry intends to reproduce of the text.

 

I plan to apply a word database to analyze the text. An emotion value and the level of concreteness will be assigned to each word. After a string of input is received, the program will evaluate does it mention specific objects? What is the core emotion of the text? The result may contain several elements, for example:

tone type

Special words such as words that express strong sentiments may be displayed by distorted letter images.
