What kind of energy is consumed in daily life? Is being alive energy-consuming? Where does energy come from and go to? Can I measure the energy generated by force? For example, the force of wind or water flow? The water flow is because of gravitational potential energy, but where does the wind come from? 

If the water flow turns a motor and generates electricity, is all the potential energy transferred to elec-power? If there is a loss in the process, what causes the loss? The force of friction?
